Welcome To The Inner Truth Project

About Us
The Inner Truth Project exists because there is no shame in living through any type of sexual abuse, violence or rape. We believe that speaking our truth in support of each other in a safe, caring and therapeutic environment can set us free. Focusing on the needs of survivors, The Inner Truth Project provides an environment where people can bravely share the truth about their experiences and receive the help they need to find strength, hope and health…one story at a time.

We believe we are EQUAL when we can see ourselves in each other and know, just like us, we all have a story and all deserve to live with hope where there is still sexual violence.
Breaking down stereotypes and walls of silence to rebuild what can be reflected back in our community.
Equality is not a buzzword at The Inner Truth Project, it's a core value. We believe that healing and truth are formidable ingredients for personal growth and social change and that it is our responsibility to hold space for the expansion of equality for all. #Just like Me is creating a culture of equality while simultaneously changing the narrative surrounding rape myths and victim-blaming. This isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s also the smart thing. It empowers us to end generational violence, connect deeper with our global sisters, communicate better with our male allies and ensure the stories of all genders, faiths, nationalities, and bodies are told. We strive to create an organization for survivors that reflects the diverse communities around us where everyone feels seen, heard, valued, and empowered to heal. We have just begun to understand the depth of this work, but by sharing our stories together, we can shape a more equal healing community and world for all. #JustlikeMe
